Don Bosco Tech, Paterson,N.J…..The Playaz sponsored Just June League had Hudson Catholic, Newark Eastside, Paterson Eastside and Kennedy all got wins! Freshman Will Brown’s three point play on a pass from Freshman Luther Muhammad as time expired gave Hudson Catholic a 59-56 win over Teaneck! Muhammad led the Hawks with 28 points which overcame a 31 point effort from Teaneck Freshman Ja’Quaye James! Freshman Jihad Jenkins(pictured right) scored 19 points as Newark Eastside overcame a late 8 point deficit to defeat Dwight-Englewood 57-51! Freshman Jalen Carey led Englewood with 19! Sophomore Nhazir Smith(left) scored 20 points and Junior Taj Upshaw added 14 points to lead Paterson Eastside to a 58-50 win over Hackensack! Sophomore Ahmed Bailey led Hackensack with 14 points! Sophomore Yhonny Ramirez(bottom right) scored a spectacular 24 points on an assortment of moves as Kennedy rolled past Bergen Catholic 58-44! Sophomore Taj Benning led B.C. with 12 points!
