004DePaul H.S. Wayne,N.J……With there not being a Varsity Passaic County Tournament game, the JV Passaic County Tournament did a good job of taking it’s place as an intense, hard playing game took place at DePaul between Wayne Valley and Kennedy! When all was said and done, Wayne Valley took home the JV title!

Sophomore Anthony D’Arienzo(pictured) put on a show as he scored 33 points, including 6 “triples” to lead Wa006yne Valley to the win! Kennedy led at the end of the 1st quarter 13-11, but Wayne Valley took the lead in the 2nd quarter and went into the half up 32-27!  Valley took a double digit lead and despite Kennedy’s comeback efforts never relinguished it! Junior Matt DeCarlo finished with 9 points for Wayne Valley and Sophomore Pat Cronin was a rebounding fiend, pulling down 16! Freshman Jamir Tyrell led Kennedy with 18 points, while Freshman Jaymeer Holten added 15 points and 11 rebounds! Congratulations to Wayne Valley’s squad which consisted of D’Arienzo, DeCarlo, Cronin, Junior Tom Santaniello, Junior James Pollack, Sophomore Taylor Jackson, Junior Zaid Hussein and Sophomore John Pettorini on winning the Passaic County JV championship!
