PATERSON REC/PLAYAZ BASKETBALL FALLBALL LEAGUE: HACKENSACK, BERGEN CATHOLIC, C.B.A AND MATER DEI WIN!

Kennedy H.S. Paterson,N.J….. The Paterson Rec/Playaz Basketball Club FallBall League had a good night with Hackensack, Bergen Catholic, Christian Brothers and Mater Dei all got wins! The game of the night was between Hackensack and American History!  Hackensack seemed to have control but American History came back to tie the game at the end of regulation! In a sudden death overtime Hackensack Senior M.J. Richardson(right) hit a “triple” to end the contest right there! Richardson finished with 28 points as Hackensack pulled off a 60-57 win! The game went into overtime on three clutch free throws from American History Freshman guard Dashawn Lathan(left) who finished with 20 points! Senior Dave Logan(mid right) scored 14 points to lead Bergen Catholic to a come from behind 41-38 win over Eastside! Junior guard Nhaz Smith led the Ghosts with 21 points! Senior John Salcedo(bottom left) hit 5 “triples”and scored 21 points to lead Christian Brothers Academy to a 66-50 win over Newark Tech! Lehigh commit Pat Andree added 15 points for C.B.A.! Senior Mustafa Lawrence led Tech with 18 points! Mater Dei, behind 16 points from Junior Elijah Barnes(bottom right) manhandled Ramapo with a convincing 47-14 win!
