Ashton Gibbs showed everyone in the gym why he’s headed to The University Of Pittsburgh by putting on a clinic against Depaul Catholic thursday night in rout to a relatively easy 60-38 win.  Gibbs set the tone early by scoring 8 of the first 11 points of the game, including two 3’s to put Prep up 11-2 before a time out. It basically was over then. Gibbs scored 18 in the first half and finished with 28 points,8 rebounds and 5 steals and it seemed  if they needed more he would have been able to give it.  Depaul was hampered by their own star player Justin Crosgile, who missed the last 4 games due to an ankle sprain. He gutted it out, but had no real lift on his shot and had a limp throughout the game. He finished with 13 points and 3 steals, while sophomore Shakim Phillips was the only other Depaul player to reach double figures with 12 points to go with 7 rebounds. Forward Rahmann Patton contributed 12 points,8 rebounds for the winners
