028Monmouth University…Thursday the New Jersey T.O.C. has it’s Final Four teams set! At 5:30pm Newark Eastside will be facing Roselle Catholic and at 7:30pm Linden will go up against St.Joseph Metuchen!

MATCHUP: Defense is Newark Eastside’s forte! Offense is Roselle Catholic’s strength so that means a collision course for a great game! The Newark defense is led by Seton Hall commit Ismael Sanogo who can guard on the outside and on the interior! The key will be their guard play defensively led by Senior Jamar Gilbert as they will go against the best one on one player in the State in Roselle Catholic’s Junior Isaiah Briscoe! Sophomore Asante Gist is also a very good offensive player who can break you down off the dribble! Junior Ahmad Harrison and Jibreel Ahmad are also tough defensive guards for Newark Eastside, while Senior Akbar Hoffman provides the offense from the guards! South Alabama commit Abdul Lewis mans the inside! Briscoe and Gist gets it’s offensive help from Sophomore Matt Bullock and D-1 prospect Junior Chris Silva! Junior Tahir Pretlow provides the perimeter shooting!

PREDICTION:  Newark Eastside will be a constant defensively but can they score enough to win! Think they will come up short and Roselle Catholic will defend their T.O.C. “chip”

MATCHUP:  The matchup between St. Joe’s 7′ Kentucky commit Karl Towns and Linden’s 6’9 Cincinnati commit Quadr021i Moore is a Highschool classic and here’s hoping the officiating doesn’t take it a way from us! Linden’s greatest strength is St.Joe’s main weakness and that’s it’s depth! They will try to wear Joe’s down, but if they don’t St.Joe’s Metuchen’s starting five(the best in the state) will go on a run that even Linden will find hard to deal with! Vanderbilt commit Wade Baldwin is the real deal and Canisuis recruit Raven Owens and D-1 prospect Marques Townes are veteran stars, while Sophomore Breein Tyree is an up and coming star! Besides Moore Linden’s guard play will be key! Junior Otis Livingston,Senior Juwan Jones and Junior Joshua Carter along with Junior Juwan Dolbrice form the Tigers unwavering backcourt, while Junior Quinton Dixon comes off the bench to give perimeter scoring! Senior Alphonso Hamilton is there to provide rebounding and inside scoring!

PREDICTION: Tough one to call but as long as St. Joe’s can stay out of foul trouble they should pull this game out!
