006Wayne PAL, Wayne,N.J……Gardenstatehoops went to the final night of the Wayne Pal FallBall League and came away with some observations on certain players and teams! First off, came away again impressed with St.Mary’s(Rutherford) backcourt duo of Amir Hicks(left) and Tim Klarmann! The two Juniors, who are both about 5’8 compliment each other well on the floor as Hicks is the primary ballhandler and Klarmann the spot up shooter007! With the leadership of Senior Dino Braduric who is overcoming a broken hand St.009Mary’s will be an interesting watch! We caught two players who transferred play with their new squads as Englewood has a new guard in Junior point Kristopher Hunt from Cliffside Park and Queen Of Peace has former Kennedy Junior wing Charles Powell(left) on their roster as he looks like he will be a huge addition! The sleeper team of the year may be Wayne Hills! Senior David Torres, who lit it up in the Playaz FallBall League and here in Wayne has gotten back his partner in Junior Dorian Hodge(bottom right)! Hodge nursed injuries throughout the fall and made his debut tonight! The two of them, with the help of Sophomore Justin Hodge and football player Joey Kenny will be a problem for a lot of Passaic County schools this season! Manchester also will be much tougher than people think as Junior Alex Morales is a potential All-County player and will have help fr010om Senior Rob Williams and Junior Akiel Murray and Englewood behind Senior Sidney Dawkins and Junior Khristian Gill will make them a formidable team! The final observation is the play of Bergen Tech! They are much improved from last year, led by Senior Alex Santiago(bottom left), Junior Calvin Huh and Sophomore Steven Lai this team already shows a great work ethic! Not sure how it computes to wins and losses as their schedule is not easy, but rest assured they will be competing hard! One month away for the Highschool season to begin!
