004Oradell,N.J……Bergen Catholic held a 41-36 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter against St. Joseph and the game was still in doubt! But B.C. held  St. Joseph without a bucket until 1:51 left in the contest and outscored Joe’s 17-7 in the 4th quarter to pull away for a 58-43 victory and go to 4-0 for the season! Besides great 4th quarter defense, B.C. rode the coat tails of 6’6 Senior Nadi Beciri! The post man scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Crusaders as St. Joe’s had no answer for him in the paint! Beciri got deep position and when he missed he was always in position to get a putback! Bergen Catholic has a deep team as 6 players scored at least 6 points, they held the rebounding edge 44-23 and their constant pressure and rotation wore St. Joseph’s down! Joe’s was led by Junior Andrew McGuire with 12, while Junior Germain Remy came off the bench to score 7 points and pull down 8 rebounds! St. Joseph is now 3-3 for the season!
