BLUE TIDE YULE TIDE HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT: PATERSON CHARTER IN “CHIP”

Harrison,N.J…… Gardenstatehoops caught the last game of the Blue Tide Yule Tide Christmas Tournament as Harrison H.S. played The Paterson Charter School in the second game to see who would be playing Cliffside Park in the title game! Paterson Charter made no bones about who would be playing in it as they beat Harrison 64-44! The Charter school impressed as they showed a willingness to share the ball and make the right play! Four players reached double figures in scoring led by two Freshman! 6’6 Armoni Sexton(top right) scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and 5’9  Jaylen Colon(left) scored 14 points and dished out 8 dimes! Sophomore Jahki Clark(right) scored 12 points and Dazmir Staton came off the bench to score 11 points! Albert Rivera added 8 points for Paterson Charter! They led the entire contest and pulled away late in the 3rd and early in the 4th quarter! Harrison was led by Sophomore Quincy Rutherford with 11 points and Junior Chris Downs with 10 points! Paterson Charter will meet Cliffside Park Monday Dec.29th at 6pm!
