COACHES VS CANCER BERGEN-PASSAIC ALLSTAR GAME: BERGEN WINS 109-106!

Ridgefield Park HS, NJ…..The Coaches vs Cancer sponsored Bergen-Passaic All-Star game pitted the top players from each County in a entertaining game! Bergen County with stood the late game shooting of Passaic County Tech’s Nesto Regalado to pull off a 109-106 win over Passaic County!

Bergen County had four players in double figures and two more with 9 points as their balance amongst their stars was the difference! Bergen was ahead by 16 going into the 4th quarter when Regalado caught fire as he hit four “triples” in the stanza and had his last attempt to tie miss off the rim! Fairlawn’s Chris Moseley’s(right) 12 points along with Teaneck’s Lavrone Green-Reels 12 led Bergen while Englewood’s Justin Iton and Bergen Catholic’s Nadi Beciri each scored 10 points to pace Bergen County and Elmwood Park’s Ve’Shawn Polite and Pascack Valley’s Ryan Onderdonk chipped in 9 points apiece! ! Regalado hit for 5 “triples” in the contest on his way to 23 points! Hawthorne Christian’s Alex Thomas(far left) scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and DePaul’s Juwuan Carter(left) finished with 16 points for Passaic County! The event was entertaining as Thomas,Carter,Polite and Ridgefield Park’s Dondre Rhoden put on a dunk display at halftime that excited the crowd!
