  Juwuan Carter is a 6’2 Senior guard for DePaul and here is his first diary entry!

 

Wassup World? I have been given the opportunityto write about my last year of playing highschool basketball, so i’m going to take advantage of this. This season will be interesting because we have some new faces on our team that No one really knows about. We have a very young team and being the only Senior on the team I am required to be a leader, a 2nd coach on the floor and a mentor to everyone. We pride ourselves on our hard work and achievements and refuse to give up. Our first game is on December 2oth against Bergen Catholic @ Depaul at 7pm. Even though they have alot of height on their team I believe in the saying” Heart over Height”, so while you are reading this, my teammates and I will be in the gym preparing for battle on Friday…
