GARFIELD OUTLASTS MANCHESTER 38-36!

Garfield,N.J…….. Senior Travis Bennett(right) scored 11 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and blocked 3 shots and Senior Taariq Cheatem came off the bench to score 10 points as Garfield overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Manchester 38-36 and improve their record to 6-0! Both teams struggled on the offensive end but Manchester held a 18-14 halftime lead! Garfield then outscored Manchester 17-6 in the 3rd to enter the 4th ahead 29-24! Free Throws by Bennett and Cheatem(left) late sealed the game for Garfield! Garfield overcame the play of Junior stud Alex Morales who finished the game with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 steals! Manchester fell to 3-2 for the season!
