GROUP 4 PUBLIC MATCHUP: KENNEDY HOLDS OFF WEST ORANGE 61-51!

Paterson,NJ……Sophomore Alphonso Gee(pictured) scored 25 points, including going 14 for 17 from the foul line as Kennedy held off West Orange and moved on to the North1 Group 4 Sectional Semi-finals where they will face Passaic County Tech! Kennedy led most of the game but West Orange fought back and tied the game at 37 with 12 seconds left in the 3rd on a basket by Junior Andy Fleurantin.The Knights then outscored West Orange 24-14 the rest of the game! Junior Jevon Rawls scored 16 points for Kennedy and Junior Aalim Jones chipped in 10 points! Sophomore Brian Patterson grabbed a game high 11 rebounds for Kennedy! West Orange was led by Junior Jeremich Boone-Alexander with 14 points and Senior Morgan Garrison with 10 points!
