KENNEDY’S BIG 4TH QUARTER OVERTAKES DEPAUL FOR 60-48 WIN!!

008Wayne, NJ……. Kennedy outscored DePaul 27-11 in the 4th quarter to pull away 60-48! While DePaul went out their way to control high scoring Sophomore Alphonso Gee by playing a box and one defense, they got burned by Junior Jaloni Morris, Junior Alim Jones and Sophomore Charles Powell!

After a 16-16 rocky 1st half by both teams the game caught a flow in the 3rd and Senior Juwaun Carter caught fire! He scored 15 of DePaul’s 21 points in the 3rd quarter to give them a 37-33 lead at the end of the stanza! Kennedy was unfazed as they came out in the 4th ready! Morris(right) finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds, including a couple huge offensive rebound put backs! Jones(right)  finished with 6 points and 6 dimes including a perfect backdoor play to Morris late in the game and Powell(middle) had 14 points and 7 rebounds! Gee,who was held to 15 points iced the game with free throws!Carter finished with 29 points for DePaul
