Monday Fall Ball Action!

Kennedy H.S. Paterson………. In Fall Ball action,the Bergen Comets and Essex County Raiders played the most entertaining game of the night! Sophomore Rashard Figures led the Comets to a 61-55 win with 22 points, while Senior Mershan Monroe(right) added 11 and came up with clutch plays throughout! Senior Aaron Boddie led the Raiders with 10 points as did Jamal Reed! In other contests the Sparta Minutemen beat the Hawthorne Defenders 47-35 as Senior Jaquan Bryant(left) led the attack with 15 points! Senior Paul Little led the Defenders with 18 points, while Sophomore Alex Thomas added 10! The Essex Terriors  overcame some spectacular play from Silk City Knights Senior Sammy Singletary to win 50-42! Singletary(bottom right) more than held his own with 29 points on an assortment of layups and pull up jumpers, but Junior Jared Hall scored 13 and Senior Abelo Yekeh chipped in 12 to offset Singletary’s output! In the last game of the evening,the Union City Players beat the Englewood Force 38-35 behind the play of Senior Raied Saleh,who’s 12 points led the scoring!
