NON-PUBLIC A MATCHUP: CARTER LEADS DEPAUL TO A 79-75 WIN OVER PARAMUS CATHOLIC!

002Wayne,NJ…..Senior Juwuan Carter did what a star player is suppose to do in a winner take all game! He took over!

With #8 seeded DePaul in a dog fight against #9 seeded Paramus Catholic,Carter lifted his team  to an exciting victory 79-75 and an opportunity to face Don Bosco Prep friday! With DePaul leading 34-30 at the half Paramus Catholic came out and took a 38-34 lead with 6:35 left in the 3rd! That’s when Carter took off! With 6 points at the end of the half he scored 30 in the 2nd half, including 18 in the 3rd to give DePaul a 55-53 lead at the end of the quarter! DePaul scored the first 10 points in the 4th to take a 65-53 lead but to Paramus Catholic’s credit behind the play of Senior Kareem Coston and Senior Marcus Dickerson they came roaring back! Coston eventually tied the game at 75 with a free throw with 51 seconds left! Carter then iced it with a tough move to the basket to make it 77-75, then after a missed shot by P.C. got fouled and made two free throws to finish the scoring with 13 seconds left! Carter finished with 36 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals! Junior Debon Bright added 13 points and 3 steals and Freshman Isaiah Robinson chipped in 10 points! Senior Devon Shuster pulled down 9 rebounds for the winners! Coston finished with 26 points,while Dickerson scored 25 for P.C.!
