009  Kennedy H.S.,Paterson,N.J…….. Tim Thomas is on the left coast now residing in California after spending 13 years in the N.B.A.  But his heart is still in Paterson which is why he and his Paterson friends James Hargrove and Larry Johnson helped create the PNBA league which has gotten some of the best players in Paterson and the surrounding areas to get on the hardwood!

WE R 1COMES AWAY AS LIVEINAC CHAMPS! TEAM FINAL WINS 16’S AND TEAM TAKEOVER 15’S CHAMPS!

Stockton College, N.J……… The two day”Liveinac” Tournament came to it’s conclusion with We R 1, Team Final and Team Takeover all winning “Chips” at 17, 16 and 15’s respectively!

Ben Bentil scored 18 points and Austin Tilghman added 16 points as We R 1 defeated Expressions 59-49 to win the 17u Liveinac title! Bentil who is ranked #74 by Rivals went up against Abdul-Malik Abu who is ranked #50! Each had their moments in the contest as Abu led Expressions with 15 points! Tilghman’s numbers were the key to the win as Expressions Jared Terrell(#62 rank by Rivals) had a tough game making only a free throw!
