001Oradell.NJ……..Bergen Catholic rode the young legs of Freshman Gilberto Cue and overcame the great performances of Paramus Catholic duo Senior Kyle Menard and Junior Jalen Henriquez to pull off a triple overtime win 96-90! When a Freshman is your point guard you deal with the good and the bad and live with the results! Cue (pictured)had moments of brilliance and also showed signs that he is still a Freshman, but the one thing he is is Fearless! That and his talent helped lead Bergen Catholic to a game that at times seemed lost! Cue’s”triple”at the end of the 2nd overtime tied the game at 84 and he was involved in the first three buckets in the 3rd overtime to give BC the lead for good! He scored the first basket of the final overtime, then assisted on the next two baskets to Junior Nadi Beciri and Junior Brandon Johnson to give BC a 90-86 lead!
