HACKENSACK ROLLS PAST PARAMUS 76-61!!!

Hackensack, N.J………….Junior  swingman Rashard Figures(in white) scored 21 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 5 dimes to lead Hackensack to a 76-61 win over Paramus H.S. Senior point guard Chris Myers(left) added 20 points and 6 dimes, while Senior forward Gene Marshall scored 13 points and pulled down 9 boards to help the Comets005 mai002ntain control of003 the game! Myers led the charge in the 1st half scoring 10 of his points as Hackensack took a 42-33 lead! Figures took over in the 2nd half scoring 13 of his total as they took a commanding 60-40 lead going into the 4th quarter! The game was pretty much over in the 4th as Hackensack went to their bench and cruised the rest of the way! Paramus was out manned but has one player who is pretty legit! Senior John Morella(far right)was very impressive scoring 25 points with 6 rebounds! The guard shot 14 of 14 from the foulline and showed a real knack for drawing fouls! The Comets actually went box and one to contain him! 

PASSAIC COUNTY TECH RALLY’S PAST PASSAIC 56-55!!

002P.C.T., Wayne, N.J…….  In a high spirited game Junior Brevon Brevard(right) mid range jump shot with 10.7 seconds left and Senior Kori Haggie’s(left) blocked shot at the buzzer gave Passaic County Tech a thrilling 56-55 win over Passaic H.S.! Passaic scored the first 6 points of the 4th quarter to take a 49-33 lead and complete control of the game! But P.C.T. didn’t hear it as they speeded the game up on the defensive end and Passaic  did not score another p003oint until 3:50 left in the game on Junior Marquis Stevens two free throws to make it 51-47!  After another bucket  Senior Isaac Williams hit a”triple” to cut the lead to 53-50! Azziah Miller free throw pushed the lead up to 54-50 for Passaic! After Steven’s went one for two, Junior Vic Mitchell’s short jumper cut the lead to 55-52! A steal led to a layup by Senior Wahlik Watson which made it a one point game 55-54! After a loose ball resulted in a jump ball P.C.T. called time out and set the stage for Brevard’s heroics! He received the ball on the left side, took two dribbles to the key and knocked down the shot for the deciding points! Passaic went down the court and got a good look,but out of nowhere Kori Haggie came across to block the shot and preserve the Win!!! Williams led the scoring with 20, while Brevard scored 12 and Junior Zaheem Beal scored 9 with 7 boards! Haggie added 13 rebounds, with 4 steals and 2 blocks! Passaic got 12 points from Senior Rahsaan Johnson, Senior Gervon Williams and Stevens!

HUDSON CATHOLIC BLOWS OUT LINCOLN(J.C.) 81-49!

Lincoln H.S., Jersey City, N.J….. Reggie Cameron (right)scored 33 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and blocked 4 shots to lead Hudson 006-OptimizedCatholic to a 81-49 victory over Lincoln H.S. The Georgetown commit scored 22 of his points in the 1st half and made 5″triples” in the game! Nasir Barrino scored 14 points and Senior Kyle McGleggan added 11! Robert Morris commit Kavon Stewart scored 8 points and dished out 9 dimes for the Hawks! Sophomore Isaac Neal hit 4″triples” and scored 14 points for Lincoln while Whyheed Riddick added 12!
