WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: TEANECK, HUDSON CATHOLIC, GILL ST. BERNARD AND ST.ANTHONY WIN!!!

Kennedy H.S., Paterson, N.J…… In the Playaz sponsored Wednesday Fall Ball League Teaneck had the most exciting win as they stunned St. Benedicts in sudden death overtime! Senior Joel Hernandez knocked down a fade away jumper in the lane to cap the victory 50-48! Senior Shakir Lindsey led the scoring for Teaneck with 20 while Hernandez finished with 15! Pitt commit Mike Young and Syracuse commit Tyler Ennis each finished with 15 for St. Benedicts! Gill St. Bernard also pulled off a close one against Newark Eastside 48-47 behind Northwestern commit Jaren Sina’s 18 points and Florida Atlantic commit Chris Jenkins 12 on four “triples”! Junior Akbar Hoffman led Newark Eastside with 17! Georgetown commit Reggie Cameron scored 22 points and Sophomore guard Nassir Barrino added 13 points as Hudson Catholic beat Kennedy 74-54! They also got a very good game from Sophomore Sammy Friday who scored 12! Freshman Alphonso Gee led Kennedy in scoring with 22 points, including 5″triples”! New N.J.I.T. commit Tim Coleman(pictured) scored 18 points to lead St. Anthony to a 56-25 win over Pope John!

Don Bosco Tech and Kennedy H.S., Paterson, N.J…… In the Playaz sponsored Monday FallBall League Bergen Catholic beat Elmwood Park 51-35 as Junior Nadi Beciri(pictured) led the scoring with 14 points! Senior Andre Frazier led Elmwood Park with 14! Paramus Catholic got 11 points from Junior Kareem Coston and 10 points from Senior Kyle Menard as they beat Wood Ridge 44-36! Senior Gary Whritenour led Wood Ridge with 10! Senior Josh Marquez scored 19 points and Sophomore Donte Wise added 10 as DePaul squeezed past Passaic Valley 49-43! Sophomore Stefen Minic led Passaic Valley with 13 points! in the last contest Eastern Christian defeated Christ the King!
