PLAYER PROFILE: ASEM JOHNSON–EASTSIDE H.S.

Eastside Highschool’s Asem Johnson has energy! And it’s his ability to continually run the floor that takes him to another level! The 6’6 Senior wing will be a major threat for the Ghosts in this upcoming season! Coming off a good summer Johnson comes back as arguably the best player in Northern New Jersey and one of the best in the State! A long range shooter who is getting better and better at putting the ball on the floor Asem is a great finisher around the rim with a knack for making tough floaters, and his non-stop movement on the floor keeps the defense on it’s heels! Johnson can score in bunches as he maximizes his minutes on the floor which was evident when he played for the Playaz AAU basketball club this summer and had times where in limited minutes he would have maximum numbers! He has Division 1 interest from Wagner, St.Peters U., Niagara, Central Connecticut with mild interest from Creighton! There may not be a more reliable twenty point scorer this Highschool year because it’s almost a given that this will be his numbers this Season! Eastside will be a threat the entire year because of the play of Asem Johnson!!
