Dwight Morrow H.S. Englewood,N.J…….The Public vs Private event sponsored by Englewood H.S. and Coach Ozzie Osbourne  had it’s Day 2 and saw six competitive games with St.Joseph, St.Mary’s, Hackensack, Englewood, American History and Lawrencevill020e picking up wins!

                                                                        ST. JOSEPH(MONT.) 78    THURGOOD MARSHALL(N.Y.)  53

Senior Chauncey Hawkins scored 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out 6 dimes and had 6 steals to lead St.Joseph to a 78-53 win over Thurgood Marshall! Sophomore Vilbert Smith 12 points and 14 rebounds, Senior Isaac Hippolyte added 13 points and 7 rebounds and Senior Joe Radi chipped in 12 points and 4 rebounds as St.Joe’s dominated the boards over the smaller Thurgood Marshall team! Sophomore Arthur Dukes led Thurgood Marshall with 21 points! Hawkins and Dukes were Players of Game!

Junior Marc Dadika scored 19 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked 3 shots and Junior Colin Hyland hit a go ahead “triple” to give St.Mary’s a 55-54 lead on their way to a 61-56 win over West Milford! Hyland hit 5 behind the arc and finished with 15 points! West Milford was led by Junior Andrew Finke with 21 points, including 4 “triples” and Freshman whoscored 12 points! Daika and Finke were chosen Players of the Game!

Junior Atiba Taylor scored 16 points and dished out 6 assists to lead Hackensack to a 61-52 win over Nazareth! Junior Razeyah Surrell came off the bench to score 14 points and Senior Philip Reinhart added 11 points for the Comets! Senior Michael Pollard led Nazareth with 11 points! Taylor and Pollard were chosen Players of the Game!

Junior George Garrison scored 22 points, Sophomore Jihad Edmonds added 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Sophomore Martini Martin chipped in 15 points to lead Englewood to a 66-61 win over Paramus Catholic! Sophomore M.J. Scott led Paramus Catholic with 12 points! Garrison and Scott were chosen Players of the Game!

Sophomore Emmanuel Bell scored 29 points to lead American History to a 73-56 win over Queen Of Peace! Junio014r Zion Wyatt added 13 points! Senior Rasheen Peppers led Queen Of Peace with 16 points! Bell and Peppers were chosen Players of the Game!

Senior Ebube, Ebube  Ezeagwula scored 19 points, Senior Ezra Swell hit 6 :triples: and scored 20 points and Sophomore guard Jalen Gaffney scored 16 points to lead Lawrenceville to a 76-66 win over University! Senior Nyreese Bender scored 17 points to lead University! Ezeagwula and Bender were chosen Players of the Game!
