Jersey City, N.J…….. Junior Reggie Cameron scored 17 points, including his 1,000th career point in leading Hudson Catholic to a 100-58 blow out over University Charter Academy! Cameron got his 1,000th point early in the 2nd quarter on two free throws and finished the game with 1,009 career points as he and the starters sat most of the 2nd half! Hudson Catholic had 5 players reach double figures led by Cameron(right) who also grabbed 10 boards! Junior Mike Young added 16 points and 11 rebounds, Senior Marc Wilson scored 14 points, Junior Rakwon Kelly had 13 points and 9 rebounds and Junior Kyle McLeggan scored 12 points and 6 rebounds! With all the scoring, someone had to give it to them and Junior Kavon Stewart did just that as he accounted for 20 assists to go with 9 steals! Stewart(left) played a superior floor game and kept everyone involved! It was a team win, but tonight belonged to Cameron as he became the 10th Hudson Catholic player to reach the 1,000 point mark!

NOTE:  Due to all the years and time that Cameron and Stewart have been together, Reggie requested his picture be taken with Kavon! 135 of Cameron’s points came as a freshman for Paterson Catholic! Hoop Journal would like to congratulate Reggie on his tremendous accomplishment!
