ST.ANTHONY ROLLS ROSELLE CATHOLIC 80-57!!

St. Peters University Jersey City,NJ….. The rumors of St. Anthony’s demise has been greatly exaggerated!! The Friars, behind the play of Junior Markis McDuffie and Senior Tarin Smith looked as good as they have all year in defeating Roselle Catholic 80-57!

Roselle Catholic started the game by scoring the first 7 points, but St. Ant’s scored the next 8 and never lost the lead! St. Anthony had 5 players in double figures as their sharing of the basketball was very impressive! McDuffie(right) led the way with a career high 23 points, while pulling down 6 rebouinds, blocking 4 shots, dishing 2 assists and getting 2 steals as he played probably his best all around game of the year! Senior Shaq McFarlane scored 15 points with 4 dimes, Senior Tarin Smith (left)scored 14 points with 8 assists and 7 rebounds and Senior Cheddi Mosely and Junior Jagen Mosely each scored 10 points! St. Anthony as a team dished out 21 assists compared to Roselle Catholic’s 5! Roselle Catholic was led by Junior Isaiah Briscoe with 16 points and 4 steals and Sophomore Asante Gist with 12 points!
