1.  TEANECK– Despite the lost of Joel Hernandez and Shakur Lindsey the Highwaymen might be deeper. Junior Ceasar DeJesus, Senior Myles McLeod and Senior Lavrone Green-Reels will lead with help from transfer Senior Corrie Brown. Freshman Leondre washington will be the key as he takes over the point guard duties…

2. DON BOSCO PREP— George Washington commit Paul Jorgensen will be one of the top players in the area and will have help from Senior Tom Sweeny(Boston College football commit), Senior Jack Ely and Junior Lonnie Rivera.

3. PATERSON EASTSIDE– By the end of the year this team will be fighting hard for the top spot. 6’7 Transfer Junior Shakur Juiston is a D1 prospect with versatility. 6’5 Junior Asem Johnson, 6’4 Senior Quency Jones and 6’6 Junior Marquel Sheffield gives the ghost a formidable front line, but the Ghosts will go as 5’3  point guard Nhazir Smith goes. Know that the Ghost’s always has something in the weeds

4. BERGEN CATHOLIC— Depth is the key for Bergen Catholic as they are deep at each position. Senior’s Brandon Johnson, Nadi Beciri and Brian Ward will lead, but the underclassmen are probably the most talented led by Sophomore guard Gilberto Cue. 6’6 Junior Kevin Marfo will also be a factor. Also bring in big time transfer Junior’s Justin Salem(DBP) and Anthony Uribe(Hackensack).

5. KENNEDY– Short, but fast, the Knights will have a lineup with four players under 6′ but with outstanding speed and quickness and a defensive tenacity that will be hard to match. Sophomore Alphonso Gee will lead Kennedy with help from Junior Aalim Jones, Junior Jaloni Morris and Junior Javon Rawls.

6.  PASSAIC VALLEY– P.V. is an experienced team with good size and depth. Senior Stefan Minic is their buckets guy, and one of the best three shooters in the area. while Sophomore Jihad Wright is their quarterback. 6’7 Junior Shawn Ulrich is the key interior player plus P.V has size with the 6’6 Cirrincione triplets( Mike,Dan,Joe)

7. DEPAUL — Not deep at all, but has one of the top if not the top player in the area in Senior Juwuan Carter who can score in bunches. Sophomore Jordan Thomas and Junior Devin Shuster will be keys to Depaul’s success.Incoming Junior Debon Bright will also be a factor. Freshman Isaiah Robertson is a top young player who must catch on fast.

8. RAMAPO— Ramapo is primed for a big season. They have experience and are a team on the rise. Senior Matt Grassi and Sophomore Matt Latka are their primary scorers, but Ramapo has a lot of depth.

9. PASSIC COUNTY TECH– PCT has the ingredients to be a special team. Senior’s Brevon Brevard, Nesto Regaldo, Vic Mitchell and getting back Senior Zaheem Beal makes Tech very tough. Keep an eye out for Sophomore wing Eric Johnson..

10.PASCACK VALLEY— The Onderdonk twins( Ryan,Kyle) and Senior guard Chris Jackson are the leaders. Senior Sonny Ray Dominguez will also be a big contributor.

11. OLD TAPPAN— Senior Troy McLaughlin is as good a player as there is in the area. He will get help from Senior Sean Brophy and they will be looking for help from their bench.
