TEANECK KNOCKS BERGENFIELD FROM UNDEFEATED STATUS 62-52!

006Teaneck,NJ….Bergenfield came into Teaneck with an undefeated 7-0 record, but when it was over the Leondre Washington led Highwaymen had another idea! Washington(top right) went off for 35 points as Teaneck spread the floor and allowed their guard play to take over the game! Washington’s Freshman backcourt mate Ja’Quaye James(left) is getting better and better as the season has progressed and displayed that confidence scoring 12 poin005ts,dishing out 6 dimes with 3 steals in the contest! Bergenfield is a legitimate squad with a legitimate star in 6’6 Junior Jovani Haskins(bottom right) and they came to play, taking a 11-10 1st quarter lead! Teaneck took control in the 2nd taking a  32-23 lead as Washington finished the half with 21 points! Haskins b007usted out in the 2nd half scoring 19 of his 23 points and cutting Teaneck’s lead early in the 3rd, but Washington and James again took control to stabilize Bergenfield’s run and take a 47-39 lead at the end of the 3rd! Teaneck spread the floor and made all the plays in the 4th at one point leading by as much as 17! They cruised to a convincing win!!
