002Teaneck,N.J…… Teaneck’s guard play again shined in their battle with Don Bosco Prep, but their 6’3 bigman Zach Olukanni’s play up front put them over the top in a 61-54 win! In a game that was close throughout Sophomore Leondre Washington scored 20 of his 23 points in the first three quarters, but down the stretch Olukanni’s 6 points in the last 3:42 of the 4th quarter proved to be the difference! Zach(pictured) has spent the year battling against bigger post men and quick wings as he is asked to guard them all, so he has been Teaneck’s unsung hero! Against Don Bosco Prep’s long front line Olukanni finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds and his activity gave the Prep’s” bigs” problems through out! Prep’s Amani Craddock who led them in scoring with 13 points crossover dribble and lay gave D.B.P. their last shot as it cut the lead to 57-54 with 42 seconds left, but free throws from Senior guard Tyler Dearing and Olukanni iced the contest for Teaneck! Freshman Ja’Quaye James finished with 11 points for the Highwaymen, while Junior Brandon Anderson chipped in 11 points for Prep!
