Farewell:   Gardenstatehoops would like to acknowledge the high school careers of Teaneck Seniors Leondre009 Washington, Adrian Baucom, Pierre Sow and Korey Pettie! Pettie and Sow were key contributors f007or Teaneck this season. Pettie came off the bench and provided a strong defensive presence on the glass and low post scoring! Sow(far right) made himself a college player with his improved play! The 7 footer became an interior defender and shot blocker. Pierre also became a much better finisher around the basket! Baucom(middle)010 might be the most improved player in the area! He will be a solid College player as their is no doubt he can play at the next level! A special acknowledgement has to go out to Leondre Washington! Leondre has been a major player in the New Jersey Highschool scene for the past four years! From the moment he put on a highschool jersey Leondre was a scoring and playmaking machine! He made All-County in his first two years before transferring to Roselle Catholic where he played his Junior year! Leondre(near right) came back to Teaneck and started where he had left off as he again established himself as one of the best players in the area! Leondre is a talented and is expected to lace them up for a D-1 school next Season, but no matter what the future holds it has been a pleasure watching the maturation process on the basketball court that Washington displayed! Gardenstatehoops would like to wish all these players good luck in their futures!
